Maybe we should all post a list of things where we think that PIA can improve on, and then send a common mail to them?
Mursalin bhai, trust me i have dealt with some ppl who r high up in PIA personally and they have tried...unsuccessfully...b/c....government agencies in our country have this problem that hakoomat itni jaldi jaldi badalti hae, even if the ppl who r incharge of the organisations like PIA want to make improvements, before they are able to implement their reforms, hakoomat changes and they are out of their kursi.
In case their reforms are mid way, the new hakoomat comes, scraps everything, tells the public the reforms the previous ppl did sucked, and starts new reforms...
and the cycle continues...
So, a new person who comes to do a job is more concerned with cementing his or her job rather than paying attention to the job. B/c even if they did pay attention to their job, much would not come out of it.
The majority of these ppl are not non-patriotic or greedy or bad. its just our system which sucks.
Plus, there is no accountability and no danda on the head many times and its human nature to slack in such situations.
its a wonder that with the current system in place, we are even functioning...bas Allah ke karam se function ker rhay haen...
khayr, sure, since you asked :) here are some suggestions from my side...
On-flight cleanliness, which includes the plane, seats, blankets, food etc and bathrooms.
Availability of things liek blankets and napkins etc on the flight.
Freshness of food. And proper, good food. How about pualo, one saalan, one salad and one sandwich, with kheer/sheer khorma/custard for dessert for a local flight from like khi to isloo.
Better handling of luggage so it is not lost.
Punctuality in flight schedule.
Professionalism of ground and air staff. Proper customer service is needed. I've heard the air staff doesnt even talk nicely to the laborer class who come from Dubai etc.
These are the most important things I think :)
