PIA flights for Sialkot to commence from November 30

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) will start twice-weekly Karachi-Sialkot return flights from November 30, 2007 for convenience of its passengers, especially the business and trade classes.
PIA and Sialkot International Airport Authority have recently singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation and joint promotion of Sialkot International Airport. According to a press release here on Friday, Anwaar Rasul Khan, Senior Vice President (Sales), PIA and Mian Naeem Javed, Director, Sialkot International Airport singed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Initially, PIA will operate flights on Tuesdays and Fridays with departure time at 11 am from Karachi and arrival at Sailkot by 12.50 pm.
