Anyone recently flyed with PIA going from Lahore to the UK? one way?

I checked the costs on the PIA website, but it doesn’t include extra charges like taxes etc.

i gues it wil b around Rs . 29 000/= including.... fares + taxes + other charges

29,000 sounds on the low side to me. your best bet would be to call a travel agency and find out.

Just called up this morning and they said its 34,500 pkr which is about £244 one way. The prices on the PIA website don't state taxes, which is an odd 12,000 pkr about £100 ontop of the fare. Are PIA ripping me off or is that the normal deal?

we usually buy return and the taxes are a lot less than that. i'm suprised it's £244 for one-way though, that's less than 50% of a return ticket during off-peak season. £300+ sounds more likely.

when i get home, i'll see if i have the number for our travel agent lying around.

Would also appreciate any details of getting flights to pak from the UK - preferably direct to Islamabad sometime in feb/march.
