okay so call me blonde, nailaQ whatever… but I’m trying to access information for fares through the PIA website..but when i click on “Fares” it only gives me info for those travelling within Pak.. It doesn’t give info abt going from New York to Lahore…err..help?

the only thing you can do on PIA is pick your seats, that's after you buy your tickets :D it sucks otherwise :p

are you kidding? efff! this is gonna suck big time. i was gonna buy tickets in august and was hoping in the neighborhood of 1500-1600 even with oil prices gone up.

you could get cheaper tickets if you're travelling after the peak season is over. you'll have to double check with the travel agent when PIA's peak season is over. it's either after August 15th or like sometime in the first week of sept. then you could get tickets in that price range.

that is the only fare info available on their website.
You can try their 800 number but that also rings in karachi so i am not sure if they will be able to provide you details you are actually looking for.

PIA flight from london heathrow to lahore non stop was £550 return for jan/feb booked 1 month in advance.
You need to book in advance to get cheaper fares. But PIA fares are always £100 - £150 higher than the competition.
