I quite agree that one should not jump over offering comments. That is why I think the elders have rightly said before opening the mouth think at least twice. I quite agree the topic raised was aviation flying duty in alcohol consumed condition whereas Malik is discussing the topic is that alcohol is consumed every where. Reading through glance and commenting just on surface one example of it is from Malik. He sites that Bahrainis and Saudi come to drink in Dubai. This shows how Malik see the things just from the surface and have a vision alike. Bahrainis do not go to drink alcohol to Dubai. I have lived in Bahrain form 1998 to 2001. Bahrain is the most developed country in whole of the middle east. It is a small country. Not a rich one but poorest in middle east as its income is not oil based. Its main income is its tourism, export of aluminium, aviation, telecommunication and international banking. Its total size is less than Karachi then how tourism? Only because there is freedom, night clubs, drinks from the very beginning as English used to live here. Saudis and other people come to drink in Bahrain. Europeans settled in Saudia, Qatar etc come by bridge on sea to Bahrain on weekend to enjoy their life here. Hence Bahrainis do not need to go to Dubai for drinking. Bahrainis visiting Dubai must be drinking there but it is like they take breakfast in Bahrain they also take in Dubai. Others come here in Bahrain specially to drink. Hence Malik’s whole remarks are un-related and hasty. Drinking on aviation duty really is a serious point and needs comments in the same seriousness.
