since when it becomes safe to sit in a plane that is at fire risk??? its life threatening risk even its just a fire alarm.

but investigation to this incidence is that it was just over heated and cause of smoke was noticed by passing by plane crew.
in any case, fire alarms are high risk and life threatening.

read ur 2nd para, that is the answer to ur 1st question. Cabin crew has to wait for instructions from the pilot, they cannot even open or close the doors of an aircraft after it has landed & made a complete stop.

Next time ur on board a flight, notice, that the captain, instructs the cabin crew for each & every plan of action, from preparing to close doors, to preparing for open doors, cabin crew has to obey orders.

This is not a Hollywood or Bollywood movie, where an aircraft bursts into an Xplosion on a runway during taxi. Fuel is stored in the wings, & not the belly. The belly holds cargo.
