well ... the the thing is that ... i've known alot from these links abt php ...

but i am unable to find to do it in linix ...
well ... if i were to work in Microsoft windows ... i would have chosen ASP.net
but its in my project to do it in linix using php ....
n it confuses me alot ... what should i do?

Firstly I dont know whether to take you as wanting to become a PHP developer seriously. Not being able to understand why hxxp:// does not work shows a lack of understanding on how the web works.
Secondly PHP is a platform independant interpreter. It works in both linux and Windows. Usually used with Apache but can be used to make 'window' apps using GTK.
So the question is what is the problem and are you for real?
