On a phpBB discussion board, how can a moderator get an email if there is a post/topic waiting to be reviewed & approved? No this question is not because I am a moderator on this forum, it is for another site where I am the co-owner and admin.

U can change the permission so posts don't get auto approved. Let me know if you need details.
You should find it under general forum setup. I'm not sure off the top of my head.

Ok, here's what you do. Under Permissions tab go to Forum Permissions, select either specific forum or the category then choose the right group and click Edit Permissions. Then choose Advanced Permissions (either forum or category) and then in the next window choose teh Misc tab and make sure "Can post without approval" is set to NO.
This should generate an email to the right mod and they can respond or they can go to the Waiting approval page and do it there. Enjoy!
