Starting image should be exactly 800 x 600 pixels in size.
When making changes to an image, keep the dimensions of the image constant, i.e. when you’re posting your own version make sure its still exactly 800 x 600.
Regardless of whatever you change on the image, try to make sure everything else stays in its place and doesnt move a few pixels here and there.
Strictly ONE change at a time, please!
Keep the images family forum rated :halo:
When changing an image, you may only take out 1 item and add 1 item (in the same picture).
Backgrounds count as 1 change. If they come along with five other things thats okay.
*](I know i’m going to be flamed for this one) but try to upload images on imageshack.us instead of GS, as the paklinks tag ruins the image’s dimensions. I hope admins arent looking :halo:
Hi Guys and Gals, Here is my contribution. I could have done a lot better but I have kept things small so others can add beautiful things and show their creativity. Hope to see great work. Thank you.
@Khumar, I have resized the man you added and placed at the top of the building as an statue. And you can clearly see the girl. I believe this would give more chance to other people. Otherwise people will lose interest in PST. Please let me know if you dislike it.
Yea, I was thinking the same but then I thought somebody would be replying on this thread and I would reply again ..... doing that a couple of times .......
By the way, I was planning to change the background colors, contrast and saturation stuff that would really beautify the image but am afraid to break the rules so let's wait for others to share their state of the art work.
I think the rules should not be for everybody. I mean like the thread owner (Cheegum) should have rights to add anything and deduct anyone's work as well. Moreover, the person who is doing better work should be given more authority over a number of changes. I believe that is the only way to get creative results.
^ It's understandable that we want to change a lot of things (like I do when I am playng) but we have to be fair to everyone and change a thing at a time. This will not only extend the game but also will give others the chance to take turn and will not take up much space. :)
this thread really isn't anyone's property. these are rules that have been there since PST started on some other random forum, and have been agreed upon by many. we just felt the need for it since others who were participating on GS were really taking PST far and making it one-sided.
if you want to beautify or radically change an image, i suggest looking through Weekly Photoshop Challenge threads in this forum. those are there specifically to radically change an image or beautify an image as you see fit. PST is really there for playing around with an image, and taking it into a totally different direction one step at a time.
