ohh i dont know about CS2... i have used CS3 and now using CS4 :S .. i guess it's the same interface?

Can anyone explain in Photoshop CS4 how u can use a font to write downwards instead of straight across like below (or is it easier to just write what I want somewhere else, flip it round and then paste it?):

^^^ you can write the text normaly ie horizontaly then apply a free transfrom 90 degrees clockwise, or you can use the text palette option check the mark where it has arrows for the direction of the text...

the Character Palette go to Window>Character Palette to view it.
