Please recommend me good photoshoot locations in lahore. There are some photographers who don’t own a studio. I think Irfan Ahson is also one of them. I want to book him for my wedding but I am really confused about which place to choose for photoshoot. I would prefer some place in defence lahore or near defence. Please help.

No he's not :(
I mailed him several times regarding this but he doesn't respond. I called him today and he just said that it's me who's gonna choose the right place either some farm house, PC or Avari etc. I don't know I m hell confused

I know this is really weird, but when I went to Lahore to do my wedding shopping, I saw a couple having their wedding shoot done in Liberty market. If the photographer is really creative, they should be able to make any location work.
Sorry I cant offer any more locations, as I dont live in Lahore.

well i m kinda shocked cuz if ur not well aware of any such locations, as a photographer he should guide you and suggest a nice place for you. you should meet him personally and disucss this! a farm house should be good but if u dnt know anyone who has one then that's a problem.

Its not that I am not aware but I just don't wanna waste my time roaming here and there with all dressed up as a bride. Farm house sounds good but I'll be having just an hour for the shoot. I want some place near DHA cuz thats where I live or near MM alam cuz that where I m getting my makeup done from.

I don't understand why these photographers charge so much when they don't even have a studio :/ ..
I like his work but I certainly don't like this idea of roaming here and there with such a heavy dress and all the gold.

thats true, but i thought he does have a studio but most just opt for outdoor location.
his work is truly amazing so i wud recommend u do a little bit of hassle if possible, however if you cnt then i can make u another photographer's recommendation- Afzl. He does have a studio for sure :).

Oh yes afzl is a good choice too. He shoots indoor as well as outdoor. He charges same as Irfan ahson but he has a studio atleast. I am confused between the two. Lets see.

Ask your husband to rent a farmhouse. There are many excellent options available in lahore if you know the right person. It will be an added expense but you can use that day as a family retreat/gathering as well.

I think irfan ahson's usp n speciality is because of his outdoor shoots, if u wanted an indoor studio photoshoot then I think they're many gud other photographers too.
Btw where is your wedding venue? & are there not any parks or grounds near by?

I think irfan ahson's usp n speciality is because of his outdoor shoots, if u wanted an indoor studio photoshoot then I think they're many gud other photographers too.Btw where is your wedding venue? & are there not any parks or grounds near by?
ok lets see, how about Race course park if you want an outdoor shoot! you could get some shots at the polo lounge thats built colonial style and some pics against horses with polo being played in the background. Then some near the lake they have, and the walking track.Or you could check out sukh chain club or the maisonette for doing indoor shoots. Too bad you don't have time for photography in old lahore, the fort/badhashahi mosque etc. would have made great venues for day time photography.But being the risk averse person I am, I went to Afzl, he has a great studio and outdoor sets including pigeons and benches and a vespa :) I'm sure he's added a lot more in 5 years!

The venue is Garrison Golf and country club.
I know he's famous for his outdoor shoots but the point is they are not at all safe though I love his work, and everyone knows the paki haalaat :/.
Afzl has a studio he shoots indoor but he shoots outdoor also in his own studio lawn I guess so I am confused between the two.

thank god someone has a thread on this ... my venue is booked as pc and my fiance is like i dont wantt the photoshoot there although a lot of couples had it there .. he just doesnt
someone help?
