I have heard some salons offer photography session as well … I am confused , is it only for the bride?
do they also allow the couple’s pics together or do we need a separate photographer for that ?
How much does a photographer usually charge in islamabad and lahore ?

i know jehangir does the photography at meelees and its a combined photo session i think they let the groom into the house from another door that doesnt go thru her salon. i had my photography done from afzl and i dont know the charges but i told my husband if afzl doesnt do the photography we arent getting married (it wasnt a joke at the same time he wasnt offended haha, his dad was about to get some retarded photog from lahore that did his sisters wedding 10 yrs ago who did all that paindu paki wedding crap). the rates were on his site but he removed them right after and i dont know how much we got charged. our photosession lasted 3 hours just cuz i didnt care much for the guests as they were waiting for us and i had had a very very long and awful day to give a damn about anyone. we just kept telling the photog to take his time and take as many pics as he want. so my husbands uncle jsut received the videos and albums in isb about a month ago and said everything looks fabulous and weighs over 80 lbs so he wont be mailing it to us, we live in ny so i guess we will get them when my FIL goes to isb in jan and comes back here. ive seen jehangirs work also and hes pretty good. but again, i dont know the rates for any of them. in addition, studio afzl does a combined session, u get ready at whatever salon and then go to his studio which is basically in a house. ive never heard of a photographer that doesnt do combined photo sessions, im sure anyone u pick will have a combined session.

afzl at islamabad is not the real one as in lahore....afzal from lahore is reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy goood and so r deevees
jahangir is among the famous ones in isb who isnt not tht extraordinary as the photographers in kar, lhr but his prices r ;) if u get it done through a parlour must be round about 5-6000 rs i believe

afzl in islamabad is a branch of the afzl in lahore. the guy afzl himself works in lahore but the studio in isb is also his. i think he was charging us around 60k-65k for our entire package which included the bridal session for both the bride and groom, event photography and videography. and i know jehangirs is cheaper than that but afzl's photography is way better than jehangirs. if ur gonna be spending a lot on photography i suggest u have deevees, ather/shahzad, or shahnawaz come in from lhr but they will charge extra to go to isb.

dont be surprised :-) afzal himself doesnt do the photoshoots, he has 2 un-professional guys in isb who run the show. my cousin hired them for her wedding and it was a disaster.
im researching good photographer in isb, for my brother's wedding in march09. will let u know if i come across anyone good.

^ Afzal himself also does photoshoots but its obviously expensiver and he may not do any and all the weddings he is asked to do. He is good in his work but the staff is pretty lazy.

hi anyone thinking of going to studio afzls for their bridal shoot please dont i paid them a whole lot of money for my bridal shoot and these guys did not give me master copies of my pics..its policy they say..thats fine with me..but when i went to them to get my bridal pics enlarged they tell me they ve lost the orig...inals...so ive paid them 40 000 plus for my shoot but i cannot enlarge a single one of my bridal pics and they were not were not even courteous wudnt even apologise..

^ OMG! What in the world is wrong with these people....SO unprofessional. Rarely do you hear a good review about a MUA/designer/photographer. It seems that everyone is out there to make as much money as possible and not give a damn about the end product or the customer. Very sad.

they do both session and event photography
charges are differnt for diff photographer but usually thay charge 8k to 12k for doing session in parlor?? tellme abput ur price range i will let u know lot of photographerssssssss..

**AFZLs IS CRAP.
Totally FRAUDED me on my pics. CONNED us out of a LAKH rupees and then didnt deliver albums or otherwise. UNPROFESSIONALS are sent over for event and photoshoot and they are more interested in eating food at your wedding than taking good pictures
ONCE upon a time it was good, AFZL himself is too involved in some affair with some woman he brings over to the studio and doesnt bother with photoshoots.
BAD BAD BAD studio. Waste of money and a waste of your event.
DO NOT GO TO AFZLs Lahore. It has been over a year and i dont have any pictures from my wedding. They said their harddrive crashed or something and wont even refund my money**
