photography business website

I have been taking on small wedding jobs for the past couple of years as a hobby but would now like to see if I can take it to another level. I would ultimately like to create a website but the moment for free and then from there see if I can go ahead and purchase a domain and all that later on. I have been able to get a temporary site up on wixx and would like to know if this is a good way to go? I have not told anyone about it and still use my fb page as the main source to put up my work. But I have been collecting a lot of work that is not on my fb group page so I can put it up on my site. Does anyone have advice? Should I go about someone else designing a site for me, if so how much does it cost? I can’t really afford it right now but I know how important it will be for establishing y business. Is there anyone who can give me feedback on my temp site and see if I should go another route??? Ps. Does anyone know how I can go about having a logo made but not pay to much for it?

Hope this is the right forum??

Re: photography business website

If you want to run a profitable business you need to invest in a proper website. However, I understand at the moment that may not be possible so you could use FB, Blogs other free websites to advertise or show your work.

In terms of the website Im not expert but when I had my website designed I wrote down a list of things I wanted on there for example the colour theme should resemble my businesses.

Logos are not very hard to make actually. Why don't you try to draw something yourself or imagine one at least. Then you can use basic drawing programmes to design it? Unless of course you're like me and suck at arty things. Lol

Good Luck
