Heya guys, I’m lookin for weddin photographers in the UK. can anyone recommend someone they used, how much did they charge? and how did the photos come out?

These guys did my cousin’s wedding. They are pricey but they literally covered everything. Photo &Video for Mehndi, Barat (inc Sehra Bandi), Walima, Photoshoot type pics (they even had an casual outdoor photoshoot in the run up to the wedding, dunno if that was included in the price). They were unbelieveably organised and and were kinda in-charge of directing the guets for the entrances and what not, which was great otherwise it would have been a shambles. The couple are really happy with the results and they got a load of stuff in digital and print - movies, slideshows, album etc.
Prices start at £2000 for one day (photo and video) but the couple’s families spilt the cost coz they shared the one photog. Much better than a few of the other weddings I’ve been to where there have been 2 photogs and 2 video guys.. too many cooks!

we just used a girl called sameena shaikh from Bham recently. It was a last minute thing but she agreed to do it within a day and offered us a great price for the photos. She is the MD of titlezcreation and they can d u a good deal if u tell them ur budget. They can do photography and videography for £500!or u can get the photos on their own.I dont know how good they are as we havent got the pics back yet but she and her assistant were lovely. Cricket Pari do u mind if i use u as a reference as well? Im in Bham and looking for a photographer too. Im going to find out who did my sis-in-laws album it was stunning. The photographer took tons of beautiful fotos and casual shots, and the fotos were actually printed on the album pages...it was amazing.
Im trying to get their contact no. ...but its always better to check around with a few!

So over a typical 3-4 day wedding thats £8000. Good lord man! Thats the amount some people spend on their entire wedding. :-)
But yeah judging from DIGIMAX's work they're worth it if you've got the moula to burn.

lol! it's 2 grand for one day but considerably less for additional days - forgot to add that.
lemme just check how much... 2 days=£2,800; 3days=3,400; 4 days=£4,500
(video and photography)
still very expensive but they do do a LOT and can cover both the bride and groom's side as they plan everything out, so the cost can be split. that's the only way i'd be tempted to use them. for just one day, it's too much for me!
and dunno if it was included as a freebie but in the weeks leading up to the wedding, the couple had a casual photoshoot in the park - that was cute!
