Those of you who got married abroad and had the journalistic photography at your mehndi and wedding, how many hours did you hire your photographer for?
Our reception is from 8 pm till 1 am, and same hours for the mehndi pretty much. I need to book a photographer and give them hours, but not sure how many would be enough (prep time, photoshoot, reception coverage). What worked for you?
Re: Photographer on your mehndi and big day..
ours were with us from 3 am since we were doing family portraits before the ceremony until about 9 at night.
you really don't need them for more than 6-7 hours, or 8 at most, Par. in a desi wedding, it would be dependent on when you are doing your photoshoot with hubby and family and then when you are planning your rukhsati. in your case, maybe from 6-12? this gives you lots of time for your couple and family shoot and then ruskhsati at 12?
Re: Photographer on your mehndi and big day..
That sounds about right. How about the Mehndi hours?
Re: Photographer on your mehndi and big day..
5-6 hours for that- so they cover the entrances, the rasms, and the dancing. thats about it, no?
if you want, you can do a small photoshoot together but it should be covered in the 5-6, i'd imagine.
