This is about change in nations from victim to oppressor. Jews who were under atrocities of Hitler bounced back as oppressors in Palestine within no time.
Any other similar examples in history?
What are the reasons behind this change from one extreme to other?

Maybe hitler versus USSR? In the beginning Germany has an upper hand but in the end USSR controlled Eastern Europe (including Germany).
