This contact number was in an email I recieved regarding a business inquiry from a desi individual who said was in Pakistan. I had never heard of this area code in Pakistan before so I thought this would the the best place to ask.

That’s perfectly possible. Whenever I’m in Pakistan I can be contacted on my UK mobile phone number, since the company I’m with in the UK has roaming agreements with the companies in Pak.

he must have international roaming enabled. That means he don’t have to get a Pakistani SIM and people from UK can contact him as normal. But he will have to pay £1.25 /minute to recieving calls while he is in Pakistan or anyweher else.

Hes probably calling from a call center (or maybe hes using internet telephony), they have US numbers there, as I know someone who calls, and an LA number shows up on the Caller ID.

That wouldn’t lead to a cell phone area code though.
