Asalam-o-Alaikum,

I married around 1.5 years ago and Alhamdolillah I am happily married. After spending some time with my Wife, I came back to Canada and applied for my wife’s sponsorship visa.

I need help from married ladies,

For a lady in her 20s (completed education), what topics will Wife find interesting to talk about with her Husband?

Well, the question itself is very general. If we knew what his wife is like, we can probably give a sane and sensible answer. Till then we depend on generalities.

Hi, she is a quiet lady and very sweet person :slight_smile:

I have been doing most of the talking and at times it feels like I ask the same questions (abt her day mainly) as well as saying the same things (u r nice looking and all lovey dovey things).

She is very intelligent, logical and she has a super memory. She is sometimes sad that we are not living together currently and she misses me a lot.

Hope this gives u some picture to work with. I would like to start some conversation where she will do majority of talking and I will listen. Since I myself am a quiet type, me talking most of the time is a happy effort from me haha

Ask her what she wants in life, her likes, dislikes, parenting style for future kids. Trust me she will appreciate it.

Do you have sisters or female cousins? Just talk to her about the same sort of stuff.. weather (our favourite topic in the UK :D), tv shows, movies or music she likes etc..

Ask her what she would be doing right now if she weren’t talking to you. If she gives boring answers tell her that as is. If still there is no effort from her she may not be interested in you or she may not be the talking on phone type. Start relying more on text/email til you start living together.
