Phone Booth

Phone Booth

Colin Farrell is Stu Shepherd, a slimy entertainment industry agent with a beautiful wife. He is having an affair with Pam, a very pretty 20 something. He uses this phone booth to call Pam almost daily. He calls Pam in the 5th minute of the movie and the stays inside that booth until the very end. As soon as he is done talking to Pam, the phone rings again and he answers… if he leaves the booth, he will be shot dead right then and there.

Movie is out on DVD in USA. I watched it this past weekend.

Good movie,, saw it few weeks ago,, the ending was vague..
but good.

How did you like the movie funguy?
(am thinking of renting it)

PG, If I had the choice to rent this movie again or go read Readers Digest while taking a dump, I would chose the latter.

I watched this film a while back, it looked pretty good from the trailers but when you watch the film you realise that the only good bits were already shown in the trailers.

Still not bad just to pass the time.

PG, go rent Gangs of NewYork... a very sad film but I am sure you will like Leonardo Di Caprio in it.

This movie shows America has come a long way in a very short period of time.

Trailers showed the movie as alternating between him in the phone booth and the assasin. Not good, in my opinion.

I must have seen different trailers to you then

Alright film, I saw it a month and half ago. It was very entertaining, but short.

What I don't get is why they're showing promos announcing the DVD release of Phone Booth right after trailers for S.W.A.T. That is good marketing only if the home release of the same star was considered good.

you've convinced the audience the movie looks hip enough (minus Samul L. Jackson) by showing teasing clips, now don't remind them of what Colin Ferrell is capable of on a bad day! You're risking losing potential clients. Maybe the saving grace is he has a lot of dedicated fans anyway, who'll flock to anything featuring him. Like an older Josh Hartnett.

OK movie. nothing great.

The ending was frustrating!

I wanted to kill the caller  and I felt sorry for the hero.
