her dard pehan lena her khawab meiN Kho Jana kiya apni tabiat hai her shakhs ka ho Jana

Ik sheher basa lena bichrey huye logoN ka
phir shab Ke jazeray meiN dil tham ke so Jana

mozou-e-Sukhan kuch Ho ta dair Isey Takna
Hhr lafz pe ruk Jana her baat pe Kho Jana

aana tu bikher jana sansoN meiN mehak baN k
jana to kalejey meiN kantey se Chabho Jana

jatey huwey Chup rehna In bolte ankhoN Ka
khamosh Takal-lum se palkoN ko bigho Jana

her shaam azaa-im key kuch Qasar bana Lena
her Subah Iradon Ki dehleez pe So Jana
