Philosophy of the Ideology of a Separate Homeland within Sub-Continent on August 14

It is argued that Pakistan’s border is unnatural as compare to most of the countries in the world. Perhaps, and ironically the most closest in this regard is Israel.

The Ideology of Pakistan’s creation was based on the philosophy that India was to be divided in to two separate countries where the muslim majority areas will unite and form a new country named Pakistan. Apart from the argument that it did not exactly happened the way it was proposed, Pakistan came into existence where Muslims were supposed to govern the land by the Ideology of Islam. So one school of thought suggests that Ideology of Pakistan is nothing but the same philosophy that is behind the Ideology of Islam.

Without going into the details whether or not Pakistan followed the ideology behind its creation or whether or not it should be a secular society because one group quote one speech of Quaid-e-Azam and the other opposes it with many other speeches of the same person, share your views, thoughts, and feelings behind the ideology of a separate homeland in the sub-continent.

And Happy independence day to all :jhanda:

I think due to religious conflict. Philosophy is that all Muslim should be gathered under on flag (in one territory) which must be ruled under Islamic law.

Happy Idnepende to you and others :jhanda:

Re: Philosophy of the Ideology of a Separate Homeland within Sub-Continent on August

It was in a way negating the global Islamic Ummah concept, to favor localized islamic nation (s).

It was initiated as states within a central (common) Govt. but later materialized to two separate countries.

No queer, You are absolutely wrong. There are many many debates and books on the philosophical side of the idealogy of Pakistan. Just as an example, take a look at this book:

The Philosophical Basis of the Ideology of Pakistan: a symposium - Ghulam Mohammed Sadiq - Google Books

Re: Philosophy of the Ideology of a Separate Homeland within Sub-Continent on August

^Acc. to queer, Pakistan creation ideology is so bad that it cannot even be considered as philosophy.
