Reincarnation is a part of all ancient and current religions of the world except perhaps the abrahamic religions. Bagawat Gita is not the only holy book that mentions it.
Peace calypsodc
The verse that I have knowledge from the Bhagawad Gita ... I can bring that here, but it would be interesting to see the other references, can you please show me some from other scriptures - perhaps Vedic?
Also, the other ancient religions ... where can I get reincarnation references for those from?
Isn't reincarnation means a lot to those who really love this world or would like to stay/spend a time more? I mean believing in reincarnation as written in 'Bhagwad Gita' is rebirth to this very same world. So one who completed his or her life span in this world if wishes to come back again than he or she must believe in reincarnation i.e. in the book Bhagwad Gita and religion of 'Hinduism?

P.S. No offensive meant.
Reincarnation atleast where Dharmic religions are concerned do not work that way. Belief is that U do not have a control over reincarnation. God judges U after death and depending on your actions u r reborn again to learn the lessons u haven't learnt in this life and to better it. See my post #6 . If belief in reincarnation is a criteria to come back , then how would u explain reincarnation cases in the west where reincarnation belief is not a part of religion? For example see the link I provided earlier in the thread about a boy whose family believes he is a reincarnated ww2 fighter.
I read your post #6 about the cycle of death and rebirth which was confusing me more.
The cycle go continuesly till one rewarded by heaven or hell. Moreover you written till the person become part of the God.
Question is:
If recarnation continue than the numbers of population should be remain same. It shouldn't increase b'coz the person who died comes agains to this very same world. Its like 1 - 1 = 0
If the person become the part of the God, than it means he or she have power same like God. He or she can perform miracles having such power in this world. It that case there will no need for heaven of hell.

Many schools of thought in Dharmic religions believe the concept of hell and heaven is a state of mind. They do not have a fire and brimstone hell or a paradise heaven with virgins waiting for for them. So heaven and hell is what we enjoy or are punished with in this life or the next because of the actions performed. For example and this a very loose analogy only : U help people in this life and you are rewarded for it in the form of some one making your life easy in your old age or by being born in comfortable circumstances in your next existence. On the other hand if you are the person who is cruel to the blind beggar on the street every day, as a punishment u may be born as one yourself so that u can experience the torment the poor soul went through at your hand.
You reap what you sow .

What if some soul is not reincarnating immediately and is waiting a few decades/centuries ?
What if more souls are being created by the creator ?
***If the person become the part of the God, than it means he or she have power same like God. He or she can perform miracles having such power in this world. It that case there will no need for heaven of hell
Again. As per different schools of thought, the creator puts a part of himself in all his creations. So everything has some amount of divinity inside. So too man is already partly divine but he suppress it because the 75% animal nature is more dominant. So man has to ,make a conscious effort to let go of the animal nature and to bring to the forefront the divine spark in him. This effort usually spans several lifetimes. This way he becomes a more spiritually evolved soul for example the sages and prophets who could perform miracles. After further refinement, the divinity in his soul shines so pure that it seeks out and merges and with the supreme divinity. There is no more birth and deaths then. The creation has returned to the creator. The concept of heaven and hell like the one in abrahamic religions do not exist for many other religions.
