Either centuries with a lot time in between, or decades or just difference of days, weeks, month, years between death and rebirth. Do time factor matters in reincarnation?

Most cases have at the most been decades and under upto a few months. I am not sure if there have been and researched case where lives spanned centuries. Mythology yes. Science no.
