I think adherents of Abrahamic religion believe too in reincarnation but in strong sense that there will be no reincarnation process like a newly born process but they’ll become alive on the day of Judgement. They also believe a person regardless to his/her believe will never come back again in this very same world except in the next world i.e. on the Day of Judgement and after that there will be no more deaths, births and rebirths.

Can that even loosely be described as reincarnation ? Do the adherents believe that they will cast off their old body in which they died and rise in a new body in a new world ? I am not sure if u can call it a type of reincarnation otherwise. I understand that abrahamic beliefs prescribe that after death , there will be resurrection and judgement . After that what happens ? Eternal life in heaven/hell ?

In Dharmic religions, there is no fixed number of births and deaths. The entire process can be described as a snakes and ladder game. U roll the dice of life. Do good deeds and u climb the ladder to better life in your next life. Do bad things , u get eaten and move down the board. The judgement by god occurs between lives. Heaven and hell literally is the next live u r given as reward/punishment. The incentive is to be good in your present life and get more and more spiritual as lives go by. AS u perfect yourself over cycles of birth and rebirth, u reach a point when U finally merge and become a part of God. That is the end point. This is the faith based and not the scientific part of reincarnation.
