Humbled by your praise ... I've just checked up that hedonism is about the seeking of "sensual" gratification, so that confirms it:
We have a number of interactions with the universe around us, the lowest being the sensory world, then we have the intellectual, then the intuitive, then the spiritual, as the sophistication of our interaction increases then the pleasure in seeking those forms are accordingly more sophisticated. Therefore as a postulate it is of greater virtue to seek spiritual pleasures than sensory ones.
