So what you guys know as difference between Philosophy and Spirtuality?

Nice question? I kinda feel that spirituality is somewhat connected with religion. I might be wrong.

For me, Spirituality is living with a certain understanding of compassion...wisdom would be the word... acting, speaking, and being in general with a certain mindfullness.
Philosophy, i think, is understanding why things are they way they are and work the way they work.

that’s true to some extent but it addresses several other aspects of life. And that’s true completely if we talk about a religion that address the every aspect of life but we usually ignore the depth of our religion.
however we shall elaborate the difference and connection of philosophy and spirituality but I m interested in opinions of you guys, more. khattichic gives a good idea :k:

Philosophy is to Spirituality that Comprehension is to Experience.

Spirituality is conceived by Islamic doctrine and a Muslim’s understanding of Tawhid (the oneness of Allah). As far as philosophy is concerned it is the wisdom or you can say logical wisdom, manner, pattern and a set way in which a work should be done or an event which should occur in logical respect.

Spirituality in my views has two perspectives. One is spirituality as practice or experience **that living with certain religious belief and logical understanding, and other is **spirituality as part of philosophy addressing the different aspects of human life.
Philosophy of older times included spatiality as part of philosophy but modern philosophy does not include this part as it tends to measure everything with science.
Spirituality still has its significance, although modern philosophers have kind of renamed it as metaphysics to suite their belief but spirituality part cannot be done with modern philosophy.
They try to do spirituality part with modern philosophy by scientific reasoning. But spirituality as part of philosophy should always be there to answer the questions related to spirit of human.
Some questions for example are.
What is life
Why one is poor
Who is happy
Why God does not help us in every matter of life
What is courage
What is good and evil
failing to get satisfying answers of above questions could result into frustration and depression.
