How are they in your opinion?
If you were to recommend a mobile, which one would you recommend?
not good,
go for Samsung nokia or sony erriccson, and motorola.

Dont make any compromise when it comes to a mobile phone, either its a Nokia, or you dont have amobile at all bas
samsung and Sony Erriccson are gaining on nokia,
almost all the nokia s had problems 
sometimes screen wont work and sometimes other things wont work
Motorola is struggling and Nokia is way overrated. Same problem for both. They got too comfortable at the top. There are way better phones out there. Not sure about Philips though, cz I have never used their cellphones. I have used Kyocera and LG and both are good. My friends have Sony and Sanyo and both are good phones.
ps. I have used Philips lightbulbs a lot and they worked fine. Not sure if its any help. :)

those 'almost' all the phones with problems ended up in your pocket :p
I and everyone I know, using Nokia never had any problem. And the phones are robust. And they have the best servive!
Not sure about now, but in the past, Nokia's were simply horrible. That's why they've constantly kept releasing firmware upgrades for them.
Samsung's are excellent.
To me seems like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola...and all those out there are good phones....yet most people recommend me to buy Nokia.
Philips phones aren't famous so that's why I was asking if anyone knows about it....the look of the phone was attractive. :)

Try NEC phones
I have used phillips xenium9@9 ...worked perfect for me.. best thing ws battery life..gave hrs.. but i think thats pretty outdated now..dont know about the new models...I might get an NEC shortly..liked that a lot.. for some reasons-unkown i just dont like nokia...never had one..
