Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is expected to earn record revenue from Pak-India hockey matches scheduled to be held in September.
Pak-India series comprising of eight exciting and nail-biting matches are likely to catch the attention of million of people across the world as it would be played after a span of five years.
While giving details of the matches Secretary PHF Brigadier Musarrat Allah Khan said that four matches would be played in Pakistan and four in India.
The official dates of the matches would be disclosed in a few days time for the convenience of sponsors.
Marketing Manager of PHF Naveed Haider said that various companies have approached him for title sponsorship of the games.
He said whosoever would give the maximum amount would be given title sponsorship after consulting high ups.
He said that Pakistan would earn handsome income from the tournament featuring Asian hockey giants Pakistan and India.
Ten Sports would telecast the matches live from different cities of Pakistan and India as million of viewers would be glued to their television set to watch the matches, he noted.
He added that after the success of Pak-India cricket matches Ten Sports have eagerly shown their attention to telecast Pak-India hockey matches too.
