My sister is studying Pharmacy at Nottingham University. From what I know its a very intensive 4 year course and she is always busy with one thing or another. The Pharmacy course is generally quite demanding and its not for those who want an easy ride. At least, not for the ones studying at Nottingham. She is currently in her final year so spends most of her time in the labs though I remember she has had a very busy schedule from the first year.

With regards to tutors helping, its about how much help you ask for. If you need the help YOU have got to chase them up. From my own experience at university I can say my lecturers were very helpful and prompt. HTH

Re: Pharmacy

Thanks for sharing this info afaaf :)
Nottingham is my firm choice, its the 2nd best pharmacy school in UK.

Re: Pharmacy

Wsalam,

Hey I hope you are well. I go to Keele for Pharmacy and I would just like to emphasize that its not an easy course at ANY uni. Its not impossible or unmanageable but it is quite a lot of hard work and you will learn in due time that you almost doing nearly the same amount as work as medics.

Dude you need to be there otherwise you get done for unprofessional behaviour. So basically you have to attend more or less all the lectures and the labs because they are assessed. You are thinking about Nottingham? That is a top uni indeed and it would have been my first choice if I hadn't thought if pharmacy so last minute. I must admit I hated it at first because I had an offer for a different course which I just missed out on but you will appreciate it as you go along.

HOpe that helps, contact me for any help or info etc and I will try my best inshAllah.

I am fine thanks
one of my frnds sister also goes to keele i think she is a 3rd or 4th year student. yeah, i am aware of the amount of work we pooor students have to do :(
But i am into it very much so i am not really bothered about it.........i am ready to give all my time to my study
But at the moment i am just confused :( and thinking wat kind of life it would be as a pharmacy student?
By the way how many times a week do we need to attend the university or does it depend on our timetable???
And i am thinking of geting a job summer holidays so i can have some exprience as well

Anyways thanks a lot roulade :)
i will contact you, if i need any more help
Good luck with your career and remember me in your prayers as well
Take care
Stay over the mOON :)
