People who are petty in arguments etc. alongside this trait indicating smallness of mind and character and general maturity, do you think it spills into their pockets?
How far is it true that petty people are financially cheap?

also, I dont think being petty has much to do with spare time. I think its a condition. maybe genetic.

I guess since I dont really hang out with petty people... haven't really noticed them passing on their petty genes. Nor any research being conducted on this phenomenon.
You should change your company if the people around you are being petty and cheap towards you. Its got to be hard.

Everyone has 'petty' moments, some blow minor things way out of proportion, I doubt it reaches the pocket though.

If you're having a bad day, lots of minor things appear major. On a good day major things can be shrugged-off as minor/petty.
I do know of some people though that will blow-up really petty things to make an issue out of them, one such person is my very own Aunt..
ex. it's raining.. for her it's going to be it's pouring, don't go out, the streets are flooded, stay at home. You'll drown!

No, at least from my experience, I know someone who is very, I empathize very, petty in arguments but this is the last person you will ever see taking the cheap way out of anything financially…
