^^ Yep.. well nearly all of the bigger kinda parrots can talk they need bigtime commitment to keep them happy and safe.. even overheating NON-STICK cookware can be fatal to them (not good for some desi households :() You should also first research a lot and be prepared for a potentially big-term expenditure (I heard that the vet bills come in the $300 range)

lol i rem when i was in 3rd grade i had a chooza GOLDEN PUFF .these hens are normally bigger than normal hens…jaab woh bara howa tou he got fever ,i was in skool .my daddi 
unno nai uss ko zibah kar diya.
when i came back every body was having chicken roast ,and that was my chicken:crying:
i still rem that day…i cried soo much at that day:blush:

i suggest u to have fishes for him....................... this way he'll have least contact with his pet and hence lesser after / adverse effects , lesser burden for u , lesser hygeine related problems...................
