Re: Petrol price reduced by 10 Rupees
Since the rupee value has reclined a lot, I dont think the govt can now decrease the price of petrol a lot..

Mubarak hu Pakistan sy koi achi khabar bhi aai:D
This government is lucky that they are seeing world in recession and if they would give good intelligent governance free from corruptions, selfishness, and nepotisms, promoting merit and hard work, Pakistan could gain a lot from this recession. For instance, in June budget government was expecting around $12 billion import bill for crude oil and possibly $2 billion for palm oil. At present price level, instead of $14 billion, it would cost Pakistan around $6 billion and that means $8 billion saving in two items (could be more). Ideally, this saving and savings on other imports would have freed government from running around the world to borrow, but desire to borrow for looting is making the government run from pillar to post.
Since reduction in international prices and increased local price means instead of subsidy, Pakistan govt is going to gain a lot in revenue. Let see how this government would manage things, as up to present, they are making mistakes one after another and giving horrible governance.
