My family has been living in Pakistan since 1947 and I don't believe anyone has been forcefully converted in my family. Its not India where Christians are raped and killed and Muslims are exterminated for having a mosque where a temple used to exist thousands of years ago. You cannot even slaughter a cow in secular India anymore.

Every country has it's self interest as paramount.
Pakistan got into bed with the USA soon after independence, to get weapons, tanks, planes, to fight - communism (secretly to fight India).
USA wanted to build up NATO /CENTO to contain Russia & China - and used Pakistan.
Why grumble now - this has been Pakistan's policy from the start. (Jis thali se khatey ho, usee pey thookte ho?)
But that applies to India as well. That's why you broke Pakistan up in 1971, and supported insurgencies in Baluchistan. Same goes for Pakistan, supported insurgencies in Punjab and Kashmir. Everyone takes care of their interest.

You are right when you say, there is a lot of poverty in India. But, over the past 20/25 years India has done well to provide a good/decent environement for its educated people.
India is a good country to live if you have at least 4 years of bachelors degree in engineering or any professional degree. Even BA/Bcom pass make decent living by working in Call centers etc.
Majority of students who come for Masters in USA are the ones, who could not clear campus interviews in their final year of engineering. I was one of them.
India is changed, but that change is reflected only in 20 to 25 cities of India. Its very diffcult to imagine an educated qualified Indian without a good job in India...
But,Indian villages are frozen in time...they are same as they were; so you can say there are two Indias.
As far as the outfits is concerned. India did not create outfits in India, whereas Pakistani army and ISI have been major supporters of the outfits started in Pakistan. These outfits were used to fulfill their international agenda...It was only after 9/11, Pak Fauj changed their stance and started killing their own illegimate children.

Pakistan is not at fault but its military and intelligence are at fault. They are busy playing games and for what? Thousands of people have been killed because of the rise in militancy over the last few years. Millions of livelihoods destroyed because of game playing. Many areas of Pakistan are a no-go and some areas are out of the control.
Hundreds of thousands have lived in refugee tents because of mess-ups made.
Most of it could have been avoided yet our Generals worry about aid from USA.
