I do not agree with this. This would be a test for the CJ and other brother judges. They have done their bit, let fresh people come and deliver. This would be a bad precedent if the courts extend the tenure of the judges removed during musharrafs period.

i am still shocked by the attitude of the suprem court....
1) Today the final decision has been declared but 90% of the news papper already published the final decisoin yester day
2) there are more than 5 million pakistani with dual nationality
3) It is Unconstitutional to take a juridic decision before pointed out the actual plea; the judges kept focus on the credibility and dual nationality of dr Qadri

Agreed. Regardless of his personality, Im frankly tired of seeing CJ over and over again, and he should retire on time in order to maintain the credibility of the organization.
COAS has already had an extension, so I dont think he stands a chance of another one.

Any one has right to submit any petition but court have no powers to do so so the issue is just out of question .
It may be some one other who is dreaming a Bangladesh failed model .

If PPP is not in power (which is a very fat possibility), Zardari will not last long in the presidency. I would expect him to be impeached and thrown out like the garbage that he is.

President is elected by the assembly members, so not exactly by the people of Pakistan. It is doubtful that PPP will have a meaningful representation in the assemblies this time around, so I dont think the new assemblies will/should tolerate a chequered person like Zardari as the president. THat is why I believe he will either be forced to resign, or I hope he is impeached and disbarred because of his criminal background and past convictions.......'aeen-e-Pakistan kay mutabiq'.
And before you repeat this phrase, please enlighten me as to how having Jew x-inlaws is a bad thing (even though they are Christian x-inlaws, **and *his ex-wife is a Muslim, *and **his personal life doesnt matter in politics)?
