its actually the easy way out for everyone involved to ban indians from the site.not a demonstration of backbone but of spinelessness. easier for forum members who arent going to be challenged and easier for mods who dont have to sift through tedious pickle wagging contests.

I think banning someone is really ridiculous. Everyone has a right to their opinion. Only if you let others speak their mind - can you find out how negative their thinking is.
On the day of the Mumbai blast - I was on one of the message boards where the majority were Hindus. They were bashing Muslims in every post.
I signed up to defend and stand up for myself as a Muslim. It turned out that they were all bashing because they had nothing better to do. No outlet for them to express their opinions.
However, I was very much irritated that they COULD NOT handle ME defending for Islam. I answered everything they might want to know. They did not have anything else to say - after a while others entered the group and started realizing how Islam is not the culprit - it's the individuals for whom poverty brings to merciful situation.
But - I still lost to the majority - because THEIR moderator disabled my account. So I could not voice my opinion any more. I realized that they even REMOVED all of MY posts which were positive. They only left all of the posts that simply ignited MORE hatred towards Islam.
They were cowards. Let's NOT be a coward. Let's tell them that if they want to shed their negative opinions - THEN they must open heartily be willing to listen to us.

As far as they comply with rules i see no problem in Indians posting here, i was banned from couple of Indian sites for defending Pak but lets not behave like them.
What's wrong with my id Navy7Army0? I follow football and Navy is on a 7 game winning streak against Army with the latest game. That's why I picked that.
You say Pakistani posters cannot argue as well as the Indians because of their education. I don't agree with that. I think the primary reason many Pakistani posters don't ague well is because they take this "you vs me" too far and too intensely, as do some Indians. It's almost like you guys think you're on a patriotic mission to become power rangers and wgae cyber war, somehow thus helping the country!
Comeon, I see a lot of sense of humor, a lot of good discussions and a lot of common ground. Why not let us use the forum to amplify the good, arue out the bad and atleast in the cyber space make a mission for peace?

Where did you get this notion that 'many' Pakistanis cant argue well? You might have the quantity, but you certainly dont have the quality my sadly mistaken neighbor.
People like Chintu are OK, you can have a discussion, difference of opinion etc. with him.
I don't however understand why trouble makers such as "desi ostrich" are allowed to post? His sole purpose is to defame Islam, even though he makes his questions, observations look innocent, one doesn't have to be a genius to see where is he coming from. A simple search on his posts will reveal it.
Honestly I am very frustrated for this lay back attitude. But if majority is OK with it, I'll stop wasting my time on complaining.
