True that Taliban are doing it but they are only our angry brothers. They are angry because because of American drones which breach our country's sovereignty. Once these drone attacks and NATO supply are stopped, our brothers in Islam will stop killing polio workers too.

Very disappointed in IK and PTI, they should make this as a high priority after extremism/militancy in the province.

I have seen those who support IK and his PTI are absent for many days. Sometime ago a thread was opened in praise of IK for his personal interest in polio drive, but then it seems that IK has backed out because of fear of attacking by 'maut ke saudagar' whom he perhaps still support.

If PTI really wants to make a difference from previous governments then they need to add more screens, currently the screen is stuck on NATO supplies or drones. Though they have 4.5 years more but the way IK and PTI have formed government it looks like blast from past only. He has been subdued by old horses like Pervez Khattak.

You know what they should do...
Hold the polio vaccines in a more secure city at a hush hush location, maybe change it around a bit, and transport people who are not vaccinated secretly to those sites.
Someone will still eventually suicide bomb it, but it could buy time to vaccinate more people. So instead of sending workers to vulnerable un-secure areas, just inform people that if they want the vaccines, travel to Islamabad and get it at one of the military places or something.
As much as I hate to admit it, that doctor who decided to collect DNA samples through vaccines...what a bad international blunder on the part of foreign powers. Eventually, this will come back to bite people when there is another international outbreak. All the polio has to do is mutate and spread. Already a case in China that is traced back to the genetic strain in Pakistan.

Secret services around the world should really not mis-use health campaigns for their political goals. Doesn't matter if you're eradicating the devil himself, don't mess that up with medical goals....

I will not be surprised if many of his critcs will find something wrong with this investement also. Why not? Its after all a initative by Himself and his party. To tackle polio is a top priority, but one have to take of their PPP/PMLN/over the top critics goggels before one can see it clearly!
So the ones who wants to just over look these projects, can just post more of KpK cricket camp pictures/ any other function which IK attend and then claim how poor he and PTI are. After all, it gives huge satifaction to some members here, enjoy!

The polio campaign must go on, no matter what. It's a dangerous and bumpy road, but we must see an end of it. The polio workers are true heroes, they literally are doing their work with kafan on their head and may God give them the strength and the ultimate reward for serving humanity. Full marks for PTI for initiating this historic campaign way before everyone woke and realised how polio was severely neglected under other oh so experienced and accomplished party. To eradicate polio was one their promises and they are working on it. They don't have time to act unapologetic and defensive to please hopeless naysayers, they have done nothing wrong. In the state of war where any day a military operation can break out, they must keep the all the good work going. It cannot stop.
P.S. Can someone please tell Billy to change his chaptoo hairstyle. Looks horrendous. All that money in your account and yet you can't afford a decent hairstylist? How sad is that? I think I should tweet him this valuable piece of advice, might potentially save his career. Oh good God, I can't even look at the picture. Why would you do this man, why?
