KARACHI: Ex-chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Saif-ur-Rehman on Monday claimed he has proof of corruption against President Asif Ali Zardari and former president General (retd.) Pervez Musharraf.

Speaking at the Geo TV program ‘Meeray Mutabiq”, he said that most of the corruption proofs about President Zardari were given by Salman Farooqi.

Rehman said that he has evidence of corruption worth $10 million in a power project against Musharraf. “I am ready to present the evidence in the court on a proper time,” said the ex-chairman NAB.

On the other hand, Musharraf’s former spokesman Major General (retd.) Rashid Qureshi said charges of corruptions leveled against the former president Musharraf are baseless.

This is not true, i think he have made lot more than that, 10 Million is nothing...

I am confident that the combine corruption by NS & AZ is in all those years is not going to be more than 20-30% than what Mushy & Shaukat made in 5 years...

Yet I see many from Mushy's era in the cabinet and wonder what the Allied Corruption Forces (ACF) will be able to broke the records...

$10 million is a tiny amount of what he made overall in his tenure. But the question is, the statement is coming out of ‘ex-NAB’ chairman, what is he doing holding this proof? :konfused:

CJ (or someone) should haul him to the court. If he has the "right proof", then Musharraf should be punished/jailed/etc.

If on the other hand, he is slandering Musharraf, then this guy should be put in jail for 10 years.

Enough with accusations and innuendos.

Our ruling elite refuse to understand that spreading rumors about their peers, damages the whole system.

When would these dimwits realize that for any country to survive and prosper, ruling elite form opposing groups must not cross certain lines.

This 1o million are reported for one case only when he was COAS only .

FIA cannot arrest someone on simple suspicion, the attorney general has to file formal charges first.

That's equally applicable if the charges were against Zardari, NS, or any other leader.
