I’m Zubia and a new member here, still in the process of understanding how things work on this forum. So, I wanted to know your opinions/suggestions/recommendations about personality grooming classes. I’m a resident of Faisalabad, and we do have many training centers and parlours here, offering Self Grooming Classes. Last time when I was at depilex, a girl came there and inquired about the same course. The contents are; your own facial, your basic hair style, your own makeup, pedicure and manicure. The idea of doing it all yourself attracted me and I thought that I should give it a try. Now, I want you to suggest me, what do you think about these courses. Do you think that these types of courses actually help you in any way or you can sit at home and learn these things by trial and error method.
Your suggestion/opinion would be appreciates. I hope I was making sense.

If you have access to the internet and youtube then you should be able to learn these things without having to pay for the courses. Especially if you are doing it for yourself and not for any professional reasons.

While i was at Depilex in faisalabad, i saw one young lady who was there actually doing the course. I think it was a load of crap. She obviously needed help as in counselling help to to deal with her depression, self-esteem and confidence. She was an average looking girl, a bit of lip gloss and blush would have been enough for her. But she was being yelled at, laughed at, told that she was bewaquf when she couldn't do thing right.
And i think she was under the impression that they would make her look like an elite from the Pak society.
That's just my experience at depliex faisalabad. It was a year ago... they may have changed their routines since then.

This is pathetic seriously! I do not think that doing any course will make you look like someone else and serioulsy why would someone like to pretend what they are not! In my case, I'm not a 'wanna-be' or something, it is just that lately I've been obssessed with makeup and stuff, and obviously professional MUA courses are not for me so I thought that these short duartion courses might be fun! Do you know any other place that offers such courses?

Anyways as i said, it was a year ago.. staff may have changed, attitudes may have changed. There are other parlours in fsd, but i don't know who offers short courses. Just go around and ask them

Yes! I do watch a lot of YouTube tutorials and they are actually good and helps a lot :)

Just watch a few, get the necessary supplies and practice. Even when you take the courses, you will have to practice a lot to achieve the kind of look and finish you want.
I used to give myself mani/pedis all the time when I wasn't working. The best was when a friend made a joke about how no matter the economy or my work status...I always managed to get my nails done. The thing is...I hadn't had them done!
