Anyone did this for their wedding?
A few of my friends have done this now, it’s basically a personalised (and sometimes private) website created where you can upload the details of the bride and groom, their photos, any testimonials, details of the wedding, venue etc etc.
It’s usually for close friends and family to see before the wedding, sometimes they can give their opinions/feedback (One of my friends had a survey for people to pick the honeymoon choice) and that kinda stuff?
Is it any fun, or just a bit pointless?
Re: Personalised Wedding Websites
I created a website for my wedding - I put tabs in for hotel rates and airfare for out of town guests. I also find that the website can serve as a save the date invite - often times you would put up the website before you send out formal invites. And I found that my relatives overseas found the website extremely useful when looking for dates and ceremony details because it's SO simple and easy to use! I used weddingwire.com to create mine :)
Plus, the website can be a cute memoir for afterwards :)
Re: Personalised Wedding Websites
i might want to do that, still thinking though

Re: Personalised Wedding Websites
I think it depends how much time you have - it can be a lot of work populating it with content. I set one up but deleted it before I'd shared it with anyone cause I wasn't happy with the design/look of it and it felt like a hassle to try and get the website right when I could have been focussing planning the wedding itself.
