Why this rule apply only to FAIR people?

short dresses and skirts. I honestly don't know how women can wear it without their private parts showing.

Aj kal fashion hai that girls wear these denim cutoff shorts that are so short that butt cheeks hang out. sadly, they're in fashion amongst preteen/teenage crowd, and God forbid you call them out on it, the world is calling you a slut shamer. :o

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

Perhaps the point is for people to notice them with underwear or sans underwear. Of course, they are doing it for themselves to "look beautiful". :D

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

You can apply cream to become fair is fair.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

Guys with long hair.
25+ guys who wear bermuda. Pooray kapray pehno!
Girls/Aunties who wear every single piece of jewelry they own to weddings.
Hijabis who wear tight, fitted clothes.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

Whats wrong with shorts? I just hate it when they are above-knee length.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

I dont know I guess I dont like hairy legs walking around.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

Fat people who wear tight clothes. Nope.jpg

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

It's somewhat hard to find full sleeve length dresses or even tops at times. I actually feel something should be done about this; to have a 'halal' proper store catered to women who want to be fully covered up.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

unibrows and mustaches/facial hair on women.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

I get the layers thing because a lot of hijabis (non-desi) will just take off the extra layers once their indoors and with friends or family..

When I was in Iran I was told it would be more practical to just wear a tank top with a cardi over it rather than a normal long-sleeved top.. In hot Summers it's a good idea imo

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

I think the poster meant stuff like putting a long sleeve top under a sleeveless or strappy dress etc.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

Whenever I see someone with the sagging jeans or pants, I always wonder why they don’t completely fall down. I mean I already see their underwear a bit why not show all of it.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

As a hijabi i second this - it's much airier for summer to wear a cardi on of sleeveless stuff to modest-ify than wear long sleeved tops underneath, feels a lot cooler and less sweatier!

My pet peeve. Gawsh I have so many. Ooh, women with saggy bums wearing leggings that are so stretched that they become see-though so you can see their knickers underneath, usually worn with a short t-shirt or crop top on top. Leggings can look cute with dresses, but with a short t-shirt, not a fan.

Re: Personal Fashion Pet Peeves

ooh and that new trend of long stretchy t-shirts with slits on the sides. I've seen aunty-jis (desi) wearing it with their huuuge thighs hanging out on the side, again with stretched-thin leggings. Yikes.
