Reading about persecution of minorities in different countries, including Pakistan and India, i have noticed a common propaganda employed by the perpetrators.
They portray the persecuted group as
*Homogenous group that only cares about its own interests.
*Perceived to wield lot more influence on government decsion making than they can.
*Perceived to be agents of or in collaboration with a known enemy.
*Majority is at threat to be taken over by minority, no matter how smalll their number.
*Majority people considered weak, docile and unaware of threat posed by minority.
