Sadly, no condemnation of this latest incident of harassment of Ahmadis but a lot of paranoid rambling.

First, NO, Ahmadis do not want to break Pakistan. That’s just nonsense.

Second, the persecution of Ahmadis in Pakistan is naked, blatant, at least partly state-sanctioned persecution anyway you try to sugar-coat it. The second amendment of the Pakistan Constitution, the desecration of Ahmadis’ graves, the demolishment of their minarets are all infringement of their basic human rights and part of a carefully orchestrated campaign of persecution against them.

Third, obviously the vision of Mr. Jinnah, a venerable leader and the founder of Pakistan, holds a lot more currency than that of some bigots who think discriminating against minorities should not be a cause of any concern. Now as long as someone is not shoving down their beliefs on anyone else, they can continue to personally believe who is part of their religion or sect and who is not. But the state or the government of any civilized country, including Pakistan, should not endorse bigotry and should not enshrine discrimination against a minority group in the constitution of the country.

Fourth, Malala Yousufzai is a thousand times more worthy of respect and admiration than the haters and bigots who despise and demonize her. Obviously, the parasitic people who have a soft corner for the taliban savages who attacked her would not like her.

Finally, it won’t hurt anyone to have a little empathy and compassion for the besieged minorities of Pakistan. How does it feel to be an Ahmadi in Pakistan? Are they not fellow human beings and Pakistanis too? I don’t see any reason why Ahmadis shouldn’t have equal rights as other groups in Pakistan.

again if you didn’t read my post clearly I’ll state again.. persecution is only in the eyes of those paranoid hypocrites aka liberals who themselves are in minority. im not sucar coating anything, infact im being bold in supporting a valid law which ahmedis and the likes of you should respect if they want to remain citizen of that country.

stop recycling what you think is right. your voicing against a majority, you think your line of thoughts holds any value in pakistan? no it doesn’t, thank Allah for that. Pakistan is majority Muslim country, the people will not bow down to anti-islam worshiping democracy.

That’s right. It’s painful to see religion being misused to persecute the helpless Ahmadiyya minority group in Pakistan who just want to go about their lives.

Anyone who wants to live in any country must abide by the laws of the land. And Ahmadis do. They are a peaceful minority who never tried to impose their beliefs on anyone. It would be disingenuous therefore to claim otherwise and it’s moreover extremely insulting to invoke or liken them to any violent savage group while discussing them. Ahmadis have been enduring injustices for decades in Pakistan but the reason why it’s important for the civil society to peacefully raise a voice against the draconian injustices visiting upon the Ahmadiyya community and the general persecution afflicting them in Pakistan is because the nations that survive and thrive are the ones that enjoin equal rights and don’t repress their minorities. All hard working, peaceful citizens of the state deserve equal rights. It’s as simple as that.

i agree that majority should treat minorities with as much respect as they give their fellow brothers. but law should be imposed when there’s a need. for example erecting minarets is a no-no, ahmedis know this and still do it.

lastly, ahmedis are not poor. if they need assistance they can ask masroor ahmed and his clan to donate some instead of going on world tours and building million dollar empty temples around the world.
