Permanent Makeup

I have heard they tattoo it in your skin. Is it forbidden like tattoos too?

 little literacy is worst than being an iliterate and indeed dangerous.

Please dont mock Allah s.w.t by saying " you can always put makeup…“. and least thing i would wana hear from your naive self is
" oh i didnt know that you cant put makeup infront of your Allah”.
As for your question Female. I will quote from this link

** As for your question, you have to keep in mind the fact that body piercing, tattooing, branding, etc. all fall in the category of unnecessary interference, alteration and mutilation of Allah’s creation. Therefore, no Muslim, who is conscious of his religion, should ever contemplate such activities.

In his well-known book, The Lawful and the Prohibited in Islam, the prominent Muslim scholar, Sheik Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, states:

“Islam denounces excesses in beautifying oneself when it alters the physical features that Allah created him with. The Glorious Qur’an considers such alterations as inspired by Satan, who "…will command them (his devotees) to change what Allah has created…” (An-Nisa’: 119)**

^ khamkha aa bail mujhay maar? :smack:

Maddy I just wanted to know, not that I am getting it done. I dont think I have the stamina to go through all that painful tattooing. I would undo my ear peircings if I could.

Salman Its not so much changing what Allah created. It can be to hide deformities too as is the case in reconstructive surgery. What if the permanent makeup is to restore what God had given you but you may have messed up due to negligence and carelesness? e.g. if someone has thinning eyebrows and they want to get rid of the problem by getting them permanently tattooed in. Why not? As long as you are not disfiguring yourself and spoiling what God gave you I fail to see the drawback. And what about ear/nose pericings then? Are they forbidden too? Or have we become so used to them being a part of our culture that it doesn't seem wrong any more?

I totally understand where you coming from. And you might be right to an extent. You have arised a good legit question about as long as one is not disfiguring what Allah has created. Piercing nose and ears i dont know how right is that as far as constructive surgery i have no clue about that according to islam.

It is prohibted for a muslim to tatoo any part of his/her body." Rasoolullah :saw: cursed the tatooer and one who is tatooed…" narrated by Imam Muslim.
