Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

Hi

What do you think about PHS? My hair is thick curly hair and look bad when it is very dry and very frizzy. everytime i go to party i always straight myhair and i look good in straight, but is it useful for me to get PHS?
as far as i know that when the new hair root come up, they will be curly, it look strange that 1 cm new hair root is curly while the rest of the hair is straight.

will it damage my hair? will whole straight gone fade after 6 months automatically?

thanks

Re: Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

Are you talking about rebonding hair? Yes, it damages scalp a lot. Hiar becomes finer and weaker. You'll need to invest in a good shampoo and conditioner along with getting protein treatments every month or so. Rebonded hair looks very silky and ofcourse straight. I got it done recently and I'm very happy with it since I don't have style it every time I step out of the house plus most of the times it's not even neccasary to comb the hair. It's like a dream come true for me coz I have wavy hair and it used to need a lot of styling before! :)

Re: Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

I agree

PHS, will really dry-out u're hair and it's more damaging than good..avoid it if u can.. the entire hair-shaft becomes dry and brittle.. and causes hair to break/snap close to the roots.. that's alot of hairfall.

I made this mistake a longtime ago :( thank God that phase is over!

Re: Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

Is PHS the same as Yuko hair straightening? I know a lot of people who have had Yuko done, and don't regret it :)

I say embrace your curls :)

Yuko is slightly safer.. :) no they aren't really the same.. lots of chemicals involved..

Re: Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

my curly look good when it is wet, but when it is dry, it looks bad and frizz! is rebounding safe and different from PHS? can you tell me which website have more info bout rebounding?
do you know wherei can get it in lahore, if so, i can go there to get my hair rebound.

why dont you invest in some good hair products? You can put in products like mousse to achieve the same curls that you have when your hair is wet.

Re: Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

Well, even though it's permanent, the new hair growing out won't be straight, right? So in about 6 weeks, an inch of curly/wavy hair will start growing. And then 4 months later, 3/4 of the hair may be straight, but then 1/4 from the roots will be wavy, and then even more chemicals will be needed to make things even..... all together, I would think it would horribly damage your hair.

Re: Permanent Hair Straighter (PHS)

oh dear
thank you for inform me
i did apply mousse when it is wet and be careful don;t brush my hair when it is dry! if i brush everything went frizz then i have to apply mousse again on dry hair. wht about herbal and essence which i bought frizzy shampooo and condition, all shampoos are same, so no idea which one to buy as there is many labels said frizzy free, etc.
which one i should buy to help my hair stop frizzy?

Try a curl relaxer.. or calming balm instead.
