perm before the wedding

i hav a new dilema i need consultation for.i hav thin poker straight hair which look good as they r but wen i hav to g out or dressing up it takes forever to fluff them up putting curls in them and all.i had a perfect soloution for that i used to get them permed and they look fabolous.all i have to do is to wash them and they r good t go look very dressy and nice.i had always thought that bfr the wedding i ll get my hair permed but now that the wedding is cmng closer m getting second thoughts bcz after the perm the curly hair r a bit damaged i dnt use much heat etc on them for like years just go to all occations like that but fo rthe wedding i ll hav to get ready at salons etc too i m afraid that i ll regret getting a perm since my hair ll get too damaged and fall out too much i ll end up looking bald in the end.
also plz suggest if some1 has permed their clip on extensions i cn get those and get those permed

perm before the wedding

I would avoid a perm. Whoever does your bridal hair will be able to create volume using hair pieces etc

As for everyday hair you could do pin curls before sleeping and leave them in to give your hair a wave. Or braid your hair after washing

Clip in extensions you can curl why pay for a perm on them? Also using clip ins eveyday can damage your hair also so be careful with over using them

Re: perm before the wedding

I got a perm done several years that turned out really nice. And then I decided to get a perm done for my sister’s engagement/wedding…not the best idea. My hair became damaged…and it fell out as well. The hairstylist will add extensions …and use dry shampoo…and tease…your hair to give you greater volume. I had cut my hair and in doing so I lost a good chunk of the fried-perm part…and I felt relieved to have my natural hair back again. So…save the perming for after the wedding. Don’t take the risk before then.

Re: perm before the wedding

Many years ago right before my wedding,I also wanted to get a perm. But my khala said that not to do it, because my husband had liked me the way I was, and I should stay that way until wedding, and then afterwards, do with hubby’s consultation.

It worked out so well, because My hubby never stopped instead encouraged me to try everything. I tried all kinds of cuts, and styles, including dying and perms.
