Your midwives sound excellent! The midwives here would never do that. So did they apply olive oil on that whole area at the pushing phase? That’s a great idea… Where did u have ur baby? I wonder if they would do that in the UK if I put it in my birth plan?

Yes, as soon as I started pushing they used the oil, they were excellent, I had my baby at a hospital.
