Re: Perfumes with a very light fragrance?
light blue by dolce and gobbana

Second on Light Blue; it was the first that came to my mind. It's a very light, very citrus-y scent.
For something light but floral, I remember Nina Ricci L'Air du Temps being quite light. It's a classic fragrance so it's not exactly 'in', but my mom used to wear it and I remember it being really pretty. It was one of the few perfumes she could wear without getting a skin rash.

Bath and Body Works: Japanese Cherry Blossom and Moonlight path are pleasant light fragrances. I prefer floral scents.
I'm not a fan of Paris Hilton but I really like her Heiress perfume, it has this sweet, pretty, flowery fragrance. I also like Beautiful by Estee Lauder.

That still doesn't mean u will get a light scent. The fragrance will only be lighter to it's parfume counterpart. Most people buy eau de toilette anyway.

You should specify what type of fragrances u prefer, woody, citrus, floral, etc.
I love wood and amber. I even get nauseous from what RV listed, specially japanese cherry blossom even though it's not strong. Floral notes are a big no-no for me.
Re: Perfumes with a very light fragrance?
Beyond paradise ( blue and green ) both are the best :k: It has such mild fragnance almost similar to our pakistani jasmine flower.

so which ones do you use then?
thank you so much, ladies! i guess i have to make a trip to the mall now with a list in my hand :)
Re: Perfumes with a very light fragrance?
I also think it has a lot to do with how one applies perfume. There is a right way to go about it and there is also the wrong way. Some people think they should grab that bottle and just spray it all over their clothes in any which way. Some like to get fancy and spray a heavy mist of perfume into the air.....and then proceed to walk through that mist. Others like to bathe in their perfume. All of these are a no-no. What's an even bigger no-no is when people try to mask their perspiration with perfume and the combination of sweat and fragrance is rather nauseating. It's better to use deodorants for that.
I've read the best way to apply perfume so that it doesn't turn others off is to LIGHTLY apply it to areas of your body which naturally generate warmth such as behind your ears, behind your knees, and the base of the neck. Even a light fragrance can become overwhelming if it is overdone.
