Performing Tawaaf

Just wanted to know who can you perform tawaaf for? One of my friends is going on Umraa and said she’ll perform tawaaf for me but I’m quite unsure as to who you can perform tawaaf for :bummer: As in, your parents, siblings, grandparents, children, husband, wife… but who else?

Any responses will be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Performing Tawaaf

**there is a provision for Hajj e Badal [Proxy Hajj] for people who have passed away or are too ill or infirm to perform the Hajj then someone else can do it for that person but it has to be paid for by the sick/infirm person or his ward. i do NOT believe there is such thing as JUST TAWAAF for someone else. tawaaf is only allowed in lieu of Hajj.

an individual can NOT go for the Hajj and perform tawaaf for someone else or perform Hajj e Badal someone else. **

Re: Performing Tawaaf

I think she meant as in she'll remember her friends and family and make dua for them..

Re: Performing Tawaaf
