Not a single card from Brian Hall (USA) when he was officiating the match between England and Nigeria.
After highlighting the bad performances of other referees during this World Cup, I think this positive example should be mentioned too. However the quality of the match itself was very poor.

Yep I forgot to mention that.

NO way I can not agree that Nielsen is a good referee is the worst I have ever seen.
I never liked him. He gives free kicks where no one would give one and denies free kicks where everyone would give one.
Pierluigi is TOP I agree. Even Anders Frisk is a good one. We can forget about the mistake he made against China vs Brazil.-

Hmmm I don't remember him.
Who was he? Which game did he direct?

yes, it’s him! I remember him because i think he got guts to give spain that penalty! (it was a fair decision i think- but let’s stop here before we get euro2000 mixed up with this WC

As far as I know some of them, like Claudia Vasconcelos (Brazil), have only officiated at the Women's World cup as yet.
He will be assisted by Philip Sharp (England) and Leif Lindberg (Sweden). Can’t say anything about these two. I don’t know them.
However I can’t believe they’re letting Saad Mane (Kuwait) be the referee of the match for the 3rd place. I was not happy at all about his performance at the Uruguay-Denmark match.
