WI has only 4 players of some substance - Gayle, Chanderpaul, Sarwan and Bravo. Rest of the team consist of “floating” members - players like Chattergoon, XM Marshall etc…people who I think couldn’t make it to their school basketball team , so took up Cricket on the side.
Pakistanis recently were delighted about their win over WI in Abu Dhabi. I, on the contrary, thought that given how weak the WI team is - all the games in that series were quite close, WI losing them from a point of strength.
And about New Zealand, the less said the better. In my opinion - Vettori is the best test bastman in the Team. Ryder & McCullum are just about decent. NZ struggled to defeat BD recently.
Meanwhile : WI 3/0 in reply to NZ 365 in the 1st Test at Dunedin

Didn't the same set of Windies players (plus Lara who has a very ordinary series ) beat India 4-1 in an ODI series couple of years ago in Windies? During the same series India managed a 1-0 test series win in a closely fought contest and was labelled a historic win
Lets not vent your frustration in this thread and stick to Windies and Kiwis.
^Who said anything about India in this thread ? Seriously, who said anything about India ?
The above is exactly the kind of post that gets on my nerves.
Is it not possible for an Indian to discuss Pakistan's performance on this forum without having to discuss India's. So if India sucks, does it make it okay for Pakistan to suck too. You guys have serious insecurity I tell you.
Plus that friggin India-WI series was played a couple of years ago. Lot of water has flown under the bridge since. I don't even recall the exact make-up of the the India and WI team in that series. And that series was played in WI, not Abu Dhabi.

Whats the title of this thread and what is the thread about? Windies and Kiwis, right? But somehow you managed to drag Pakistan team in this thread.
Fine.. let assume for the the arguement sake, that you brought Pakistan and their delight to beat Windies in order to express how weak Windies were.
I simply used the same logic and said that India being a strong opposition in the last couple of years had a really tough time aginast the similar Windies side which you labelled mediocre. Meaning that Windies can't be labelled mediocre. Got it??
And no one brought India into any discussion unnecassarily expecially in a thread related to 2 other sides. However you brought Pakistan, so go figure who is insecure.
^I brought up Pakistan because Pakistan won a series against WI recently at Abu Dhabi.
Just like I brought up Bangladesh to say that NZ had a hard time beating them recently.
But you Mr brought up India's performance from 2 years ago only because I am an Indian and you felt insecure when I seemed to suggest that Pakistan's performance recently was nothing to feel elated about.

And YOU KNOW IT.
Yes we all know why you brought Pakistan in this thread. No need to give any explanations. Thank you and please continue.
